Quentin du Plessis

Quentin du Plessis is a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Private Law tutoring Law of Contract and Law of Delict. In addition, he is Research Assistant to Associate Professor Alistair Price, Department of Private Law, and a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Philosophy. He has a BSocSc (PPE) and LLB from UCT. During his law studies he served as editor of Responsa Meridiana, the national student law journal and was a contributor to Altum Sonatur, the award-winning UCT Law students' quarterly magazine.

Quentin's research interests lie in the intersection of the philosophy of language and the philosophy of law. He is currently doing a research masters on the role of indeterminacy in law, under the supervision of Professor Anton Fagan.
