MASTER'S DEGREE (LLM) SPECIALISING IN PRIVATE LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS (commencing 2015)

The curriculum comprises one compulsory course, three elective courses and a compulsory minor dissertation of not more than 25 000 words on a related topic approved by the programme convener. The curriculum consists of 240 credits.

Elective courses [to the value of 90 credits]

Students must choose three additional LLM courses, including at least two of the following courses:

RDL5625F Property Law in a Constitutional Order: Comparative Perspectives 

RDL5627F Delict, Unjustified Enrichment, and Human Rights 

RDL5623F Human Rights and African Customary Law 

RDL5620S Advanced Contract Law

RDL5626S Human Rights, Gender, and Family

RDL5630S Comparative Mineral Law in Africa
